Petroleum Geo-Services ASA Provides Vessel Allocation Q4 2011

Oslo, Norway, Petroleum Geo-Services ASA ('PGS' or the 'Company') routinely releases information about 3D vessel utilization around the end of each quarter.

Nordic Explorer is included in the statistics through November when it was taken out for conversion to 2D.

PGS will release its Q4 2011 financial results on Monday February 20, 2012 at approximately 8:00 am Central European Time (CET), with a corresponding presentation, webcast and conference call scheduled for 9:00 am CET, followed by a conference call at 3:00 pm CET.
