Jee answers call for independent subsea controls training

Thursday, Feb 16, 2012

Due to the huge demand for subsea controls training from companies in the oil and gas industry, Jee has responded by investing in a brand new training course. As an independent pipeline, riser and subsea engineering and training company, Jee is ideally placed to offer a detailed and objective training programme. Interest for this 2 day course has come from as far afield as Brazil, Nigeria and the USA.

Designed as a follow-on course to Jee’s ever-popular Subsea systems course, it takes a specific look at how control systems operate, the engineering principles involved and identifies the key areas that are easily overlooked. Delegates will get to see what different parts of the system look like, get an independent comparison of the kit and equipment available and gain a greater understanding of this specialist area.

The first session of Subsea controls will be held in Houston, 11-12 April 2012. It is ideal for all personnel who work on projects involving subsea control systems, from offshore operators and technicians to manufacturers who integrate systems, through to subsea and system design engineers.

Jenny Matthew, Head of Courses at Jee Limited said: “Jee is a leader in subsea training and we aim to keep at the forefront of the industry by introducing new courses to meet the demands of our clients. This latest expansion of our training portfolio is another reflection of the need for subsea skills in the oil and gas industry and we are working with clients to ensure that we continue to help them meet their future project needs”.

Jee is an independent subsea engineering and training company that has trained over 5,000 delegates worldwide since 1995. Jee wants to help you expand your subsea horizons - find out more about this course at www.jee.co.uk.
